2 Tbs butter 1 cup cornmeal 1/2 cup soy flour 1/2 cup brown rice flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 2 Tbs brown sugar 1 egg 1 cup milk Directions Heat oven to 350° F. Melt the butter in an 8×8 baking dish in the preheating oven. Combine all dry ingredients. Mix well. Add the egg and milk and combine. Let rest for a couple of minutes. Distribute the melted butter over the bottom of the pan and up the sides a bit. Pour the batter into the buttered baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Makes 5x recipe. Use 1/4 seasoning mix per batch of ribs. Original recipe is for 2 full racks of baby back pork ribs. Add last 4 ingredients below per 1/4 rib rub mix. 10 tsp garlic powder 5 tsp kosher salt 5 tsp black pepper 2 tsp cayenne pepper 10 tsp cumin 5 Tbs paprika 5 tsp mustard powder Add the following wet ingredients per 1/4 cup rib rub mix when prepping a batch of ribs: 2 tsp brown sugar 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp lime juice 1 tsp Texas Pete’s hot sauce Directions Combine all dry ingredients except brown sugar. Bird Suet
1 cup lard 1 cup chunky peanut butter 1 cup oatmeal 1 cup corn meal 1/2 cup flour 1/3 cup sugar 1 cup bird seed Directions Add first 2 ingredients to a saucepan and melt on medium heat. Set aside to cool. Mix the remaining ingredients together in a bowl. Add the melted mixture to the dry ingredients and combine. When cool to the touch press into muffin tins or other containers. Include cording to hang suet if desired. Cool in refrigerator for 2 hours until hard.
