Sweet and Sour Cole Slaw

8 c. green cab age, shredded
4 c. red cabbage, shredded
1 whole sweet onion (Vidalia or
Maui), thinly sliced
2 T. sugar
2 T. fresh lemon juice
2 T. white rice vinegar
1 T. low-sodium soy sauce
1 T. fresh ginger root, finely
chopped
2 T. sweet and hot Asian sauce
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper to taste

Combine both cabbages and onion in a large bowl.

at least 15 minutes.
